Student protests against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama continue to be accompanied by a boycott of classes at several universities. For several weeks, young people have been engaged in protests and marches in Tirana, stopping at various faculties to seek the support of other students and the expansion of the movement. During the protests, students have called for the interruption of classes and unity in their cause.
The marches have taken place at the University of Arts, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Economics and the Polytechnic University, and the boycott is expected to continue today. So far, the students have rejected Rama's invitation for dialogue, insisting that his resignation is the main demand of the protest.
