As a result of receiving information from State Police structures and its timely exchange with Interpol Madrid, another phase of the operation codenamed "The Wanted" was finalized.
As part of this operation, citizen AN, 36 years old, born in Shkodra, who is internationally wanted, was provisionally arrested in Spain, with the aim of extradition to Albania.
In 2022, the Shkodra Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction assigned this citizen the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses of "Murder", attempted, and "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
The 36-year-old is accused of having fired an automatic firearm in March 2022, for weak motives, at a property owned by citizen SS, in the "Skënderbeg" neighborhood, causing only material damage.
Interpol Tirana continues to cooperate with Interpol Madrid to finalize the extradition procedure of the 36-year-old to Albania.
