BREAKING NEWS/ Haxhiu mandates Kurti to form a new government

Kosovo's acting President Albulena Haxhiu has tasked Albin Kurti with forming a new government, the move comes after the constitution of the Assembly this Sunday morning.

"In accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and following the proposal of the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement, I have appointed Mr. Albin Kurti as Prime Minister-designate for the formation of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.

"I wish Mr. Kurti success in exercising the responsibilities that stem from the trust of citizens, as well as in the rapid formation of the Government, in the service of the Republic of Kosovo and its citizens," Haxhiu's announcement reads. /LAPSI.al
