The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, says that despite the 3 new corruption charges that have worsened the position of former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, SPAK has not yet made a request to the Assembly to lift her immunity.
This, according to Bardhi, is giving Rama time for "political maneuvers."
"Day 3.
2 hidden and seized villas. 3 new charges for corruption, money laundering, hiding assets, but still NO new request from SPAK to lift immunity for the arrest of Belinda Balluku.
Belinda Balluku's criminal position has been aggravated, but SPAK is not acting to aggravate the security measure and continues to give Edi Rama time for political maneuvers.
Why doesn't SPAK act? What else needs to happen so that the head of SPAK does not violate the standard he himself stated that, when the criminal position is aggravated, the security measure is also aggravated?
"Every day that passes without the request to lift immunity for the arrest of Belinda Balluku is in favor of the "Valamar Alliance" against the rule of law," writes Bardhi. ©LAPSI.al
