Another significant amount of cocaine linked to the Albanian Lulzim Caka network has been discovered by Greek authorities. Following a tip from the DEA, Greek police discovered 84 kg of cocaine that had been brought from Colombia hidden in plastic rose stems. This operation was named “Flowers of Evil” after the title of the famous French poet Charles Baudelaire.
Further investigations led to the arrest of Lulzim Caka, after police initially found 2 kg of cocaine in his apartment. He was arrested together with his son, in a villa where, in addition to the drugs, chemicals and cocaine packaging equipment, a pistol and a luxury car were also found.
Police continued their search and found another quantity of cocaine in a storage area next to Caka's apartment. Police found 26.8 kilograms of cocaine in a barn, owned by the same person who was renting the apartment to the criminal organization.
The cocaine was found packaged in packages bearing a special mark identical to that of the molds and presses that were seized from Caka's apartment. During the searches, a hunting-survival knife with a 21-centimeter blade and bullets of various calibers were also found.
The place where the drugs were hidden was also interesting. Inside the building there was a large underground water tank and an underground "network"-type space, where the confiscated objects were carefully hidden. ©LAPSI.al
