A serious incident was recorded this afternoon in Malësia e Madhe. A German was arrested after pouring gasoline on the car of a 27-year-old man. Two police officers were injured with a knife during the intervention to neutralize him. The incident began around 17:30. A 27-year-old reported to the police that, during the trip from Hani i Hotit to Shkodra, the driver of another vehicle allegedly poured gasoline on his car, near a gas station.
The police located the vehicle in the village of Pjetroshan. The driver, 47-year-old German JK, refused to identify himself and, according to the official announcement, stabbed two General Patrol officers during the intervention. The two officers were transported to the hospital for medical assistance. The 47-year-old was neutralized and escorted to the Malesia e Madhe Police Station, while investigations continue to clarify the entire dynamics of the incident.
