Tensions have returned in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where police have begun escorting some protesters after clashes with Molotov cocktails and the intervention of pressurized water. The 19th protest began today divided into two fronts. Students gathered near the Ministry of Education, while supporters of the Democratic Party and opposition MPs initially marched towards the Prime Minister's Office. Afterwards, the DP group headed to the Ministry of Education to join the students, but were met with chants of "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison".
The situation became even more tense near the Ministry of Education, where several masked individuals threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the police. The security forces repeatedly warned the protesters to distance themselves from violent acts and intervened with water cannons and tear gas from police cars. After a few hours, the crowd moved towards the Prime Minister's Office. Molotov cocktails were also thrown at the officers there, while the police responded with water cannons and began escorting them.
