After a 10-minute break, the plenary session resumed with tensions. The opposition refused to give up the podium and the normal course of the session. Before the session was interrupted, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was speaking, where he gave a message to the socialist deputies that they deserve to have their bones broken and their skulls cracked, not the students who were raped by the police.
Immediately, Speaker Peleshi interrupted the session. After the resumption, the opposition was still there, as Peleshi called for them to sit down and continue the session according to the agenda. The Democrats called for the Republic Guard to be removed from their presence on the podium. Peleshi then announced another interruption of the session until the podium was vacated.
