Everything was easy for Real Madrid, who in the eleventh week of La Liga triumphed with a clean 3-0 score against Racing Santander, liquidated in the first 45 minutes. Mbappé opened the match from the penalty spot (an exaggerated penalty, since the contact between the Frenchman and the opponent was quite easy), scoring his twelfth goal in the championship. Then, Bellingham and Diomande closed the accounts in just over 20 minutes. Thus, Jose Mourinho's team responded to the victories of Atletico Madrid and Barcelona against Levante and Alaves, remaining unshakable in third place.
Real Madrid did not find themselves unprepared and immediately made things easy for Racing Santander. After 10 minutes, Mbappé won a penalty, hotly contested by the home team, and shortly afterwards converted it into a goal, taking his tally to 15 goals for the season, between the league (12) and the Champions League (3). Inspired by the advantage, “Los Blancos” continued to attack and, ten minutes later, a precise pass from Arda Guler to Bellingham broke through the white-green defense. The English attacking midfielder beat goalkeeper Agirrezabala and scored the second goal. The Blancos did not stop and, after a rebound from a corner kick in the 36th minute, they also scored the third goal with a brilliant long-range shot by Diomande. The Ivorian thus scored his third goal in the last four games.
In the second half, “Los Blancos” managed the pace of the game, despite the efforts of the home team, who were also awarded a penalty that was initially awarded for a handball by Tchouameni. In the end, Bellingham also scored the goal to make it 4-0, but the goal was ruled out for offside, but that did not affect Real Madrid's sixth consecutive victory between the championship and the Champions League.
