Rama says two words about Ergys Agas: No one speaks in my name

Prime Minister Edi Rama has spoken for the first time about businessman Ergys Agasi and his relationship with him. In the podcast with Rudina Xhunga, Rama said that personal relationships or photographs with various people do not constitute a public function and do not give them the right to speak or act on his behalf.

Rama said that he has never authorized anyone to speak or do state business in his name. "I speak in my own name," he emphasized.

"I have been made very close to or have many stories of closeness. Closeness to me, to one person or another, is not in the public interest. Neither the photograph, nor the personal reports, nor the claim that they speak on my behalf. I have never authorized anyone to speak on my behalf.

I have not authorized anyone to do state business in my name. Of course, I regret finding myself in a situation where someone with whom I have had a human relationship, for one reason or another, is exposed as someone who has problems with the law.

But, on the other hand, I am completely liberated and without any problems, beyond regret, even for myself in a way, because everyone there is facing the law with themselves and their own lawyers.

Who doesn't speak in my name? To get into this: "Why did you speak in my name?", it's like not doing anything else. I think people who know me know that no one can speak in my name.

"Those who don't know me and think that others speak in my name, I feel sorry for them. But everyone should know that in my name I speak myself" - said Rama. ©LAPSI.al
