Following operations to crack down on cases of trafficking in the narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa with a high percentage of THC, the Narcotics Investigation Section, under the direction of the Prosecution, and in cooperation with the "Transit Center" subsidiary of the Albanian Post, finalized the police operation codenamed "Delivery".
As part of this operation, after an investigation into the case, it was possible to identify citizen DS, 20 years old, resident of Bathore, as the person who ordered the package containing 4 kg and 641 grams of Cannabis with a high THC percentage, suspected of having been trafficked from the USA. Following the procedural actions, the 20-year-old was placed in handcuffs by the Police services.
The package, which contained 8 packages of suspected narcotics Cannabis, with a total weight of 4 kg and 641 grams, was seized as material evidence.
The Police are continuing to work to identify other persons involved in this criminal activity.
