
Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the fire situation in Himara and Fier, where last evening was accompanied by powerful fires and considerable damage.
Through a post on Facebook, Rama writes that the situation is currently under control and there is no danger to residents or residential areas.
"Himara and Fier had a very difficult night last night," the prime minister writes.
According to him, the responsible structures continue to work on the ground to monitor the situation and identify the damage caused by the fires. Rama also emphasizes that municipalities will continue to identify and assess the damage, as well as identify cases that need urgent assistance.
Meanwhile, operational forces continue to be engaged in the field, while the situation in the affected areas is being continuously monitored.
