A fire has engulfed the fifth floor of a hotel in Velipojë, alarming vacationers who were inside the building.
The incident occurred on Street 13, near the Viluni area, where flames engulfed the fifth floor of the hotel. The vacationers were evacuated in time and got out of the building, while fortunately no injuries were reported.
As TCH reports, a fire truck, which is stationed in Velipojë during the tourist season, immediately arrived at the scene and began the intervention to extinguish the flames.
Meanwhile, two more fire engines have been dispatched from Shkodra to enable the total extinguishing of the fire. According to preliminary information, the source of the fire has been neutralized and the rest of the hotel does not pose a risk of the flames spreading.
