Taulant Balla reacted after the protest that took place near a school in Tirana, where the State Police detained a person.
Through a reaction on social media, Balla defended the actions of the police, emphasizing that the officers have implemented the law and their duty to protect the safety of citizens and especially students.
"The State Police did their duty today near the security perimeter of a school here in Tirana, detaining an individual who was booked for criminal activity in the distribution of narcotics. During the detention, this individual cursed and insulted the police officer. I don't know of any other European country where the Police wouldn't act similarly. That's why you attacked the Police enough ," Balla said.
He also focused on respecting the security perimeter of schools, emphasizing that these spaces must remain untouched by any activity that violates order and security.
"The school security perimeter should not be breached. Let them find other places to vent the failure of their protest ," Balla declared.
