Because the summer sensation in tourist Albania has been the graceful flamingo, which has been displaying its pink feathers on the streets for three months in the country in the form of a revolution. Protests against investment projects by one of Donald Trump's two sons-in-law, the famous Jared Kushner, have just completed 90 days of uninterrupted protests, although they have somewhat lost momentum. But neither the summer holidays nor the pressures from Prime Minister Edi Rama have managed to stop them.
"Participation has dropped, but it is possible that it will increase again when the summer holidays end and institutional activity resumes," explains journalist Zana Cimili, from the AP agency, which is covering this movement.
Kushner, through his Infinity Partners and its partners, plans to build large complexes in coastal areas of ecological value, mainly in the Nartë-Zvërnec area (a staging area for the iconic flamingos) and the island of Sazan. REVOLUCIONI FLAMINGO ËSHTË I FORTË. ËSHTË KOHA QË KRYEMINISTRI RAMA TË MBLEDHË BAGAZHET E TIJ."

Lorin Kadiu është përgjegjës dhe kujton se "është demonstrata më e gjatë dhe më intensive që nga ndryshimi i regjimit në vitin 1991". Ai shpjegon se përleshjet me policinë dhe shoqërimet ndaluan kur Parlamenti mbylli aktivitetet e tij në gusht.

Dervishi beson se "presioni më i menjëhershëm mund të zhvendoset gjithnjë e më shumë nga rrugët në rrugë ligjore dhe institucionale. Tashmë ka hetime (nga SPAK, prokuroria speciale) për blerjet e tokës të lidhura me zhvillimin e Zvërnecit, ndërsa Parlamenti Europian ka bërë thirrje për një moratorium mbi lejet e reja dhe ndërhyrjet urbane në zonat e mbrojtura derisa legjislacioni shqiptar të përafrohet me standardet e BE-së". Shqipëria, pas Malit të Zi, është favorite për t'u bashkuar me BE-në.
"The case of Sazan is different: there are no ownership disputes there, so any possible legal avenue would focus more on environmental procedures, permits and compliance with environmental regulations from both Albania and the EU.
