
A 33-year-old man internationally wanted by Italian authorities has been arrested in Ndroq. The 33-year-old DH is accused in Italy of a number of criminal offenses, including attempted murder, wounding, destruction of property and resisting police officers. Interpol Tirana has initiated procedures for his extradition to Italy.

Another phase of the operation codenamed "Fast" is being finalized by the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, in cooperation with the Tirana DVP. Accused in Italy, for crimes against the person, resisting police officers and destruction of property, the 33-year-old is captured in Ndroq.
Following the information and operational coordination, through Interpol Tirana, with counterparts in Italy, with the objective of locating and capturing citizens declared internationally wanted, specialists from the Search Sector (FAST Albania) at the Directorate of the Special Operational Force at the DPPSh, in cooperation with the services of the DVP Tirana, finalized another phase of the coded operation "Fast", as a result of which citizen DH, 33 years old, resident of Tirana, was located in Ndroq and provisionally arrested.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Rome, Italy, after the Italian judicial authorities, on 31.07.2026, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses of "Murder", attempted, "Injury", "Destruction of property", "Resisting arrest" and "Resisting a police officer during the exercise of his duty".
Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Rome, is continuing the procedure for the extradition of the 33-year-old to Italy.
