The Ministry of Defense reports that 30 fires have been reported in the country's territory today, of which 7 remain active, 10 are under surveillance and 13 have been completely extinguished.
In Tirana County, the fire in Dajti Mountain remains active, where 25 firefighters, 7 ADZM forces, and 52 Armed Forces personnel with 6 vehicles and 1 ambulance have operated during the day. There is no risk to residential areas. The fires in Bërzhitë Mountain and Mali me Gropa have been isolated and are being kept under surveillance.
In the Dibër District, several outbreaks remain active: in Lundre–Madhesh, Mat, in Cerrujë–Mali i Allushit, Klos, in Selishtë, as well as the new outbreak in Pleshë, Klos. The outbreak in Qafë e Helme is being monitored.
In Shkodra County, the fires in Porav, Fushë-Arrëz remain active, while the fires in Rragam and on Mount Tërbun are under surveillance and do not pose a risk to residential areas. The fire in Mnelë e Madhe has been extinguished.
In Fier County, the fire in Peshtan is being monitored, while the fire in Çërrila, Mallakastër, remains active. Local, forestry and civil defense forces have been engaged in this fire, while the Armed Forces have intervened with 1 helicopter, 32 personnel and 3 vehicles.
In the regions of Lezhë, Elbasan and Korçë, the situation appears more stable: the reported outbreaks are mostly extinguished or under surveillance. In Opar, Korçë, field work continues, but the outbreak is classified as under surveillance and no homes are at risk.
404 national and local operational forces and 21 firefighting vehicles have been engaged in the operations. The Armed Forces have supported the operations with 133 personnel, 1 helicopter, 2 firefighting vehicles, 1 drone, 13 vehicles and 1 ambulance. /LAPSI.al
