Michele Di Gregorio is ready to leave Juventus. The agreement between the black and white club and Bournemouth is a step away and foresees a loan with an option to buy set at 14 million euros plus bonuses, reports Sky Sport. If the contacts of the next few hours are successful, the goalkeeper born in 1997 could travel to England for what would be his first experience abroad.
In two seasons at Juventus, Di Gregorio has made 84 appearances, keeping 36 clean sheets. Previously, the goalkeeper, who grew up in the Inter academy, played for Renate, Novara, Pordenone and Monza, with whom he made his Serie A debut in 2022.
After the acquisition of Vicario, Juventus is thus ready to say goodbye to two goalkeepers: Di Gregorios and Perin, with the latter heading to Palermo in Serie B. If both departure operations are successful, it is clear that Carnevali and Massara will have to work to find a second goalkeeper at the right level for the Bianconeri. Among the names that have emerged in recent hours, as Sky Sport reports, is that of Santiago Beltran, born in 2004 and part of River Plate. In Argentina he is considered the possible successor to Dibu Martinez.
So, not only Vicario, but most likely another goalkeeper will soon be signed by Juventus. Yes, because it seems that everything has already been done for the transfer of Mattia Perini from the Bianconeri to Palermo in Serie B. Pippo Inzaghi will have the experienced goalkeeper at his disposal to start the mission of promotion to Serie A of the rosanero team. The arrival of Guglielmo Vicario seems to have irritated Perini himself, who thought that, after the clear dismissal of Di Gregorio by the coach and the club, he could finally have the opportunity to take the Bianconeri goal, which he has watched for many years from the Allianz bench.
And in fact, it was the arrival of the former Tottenham goalkeeper that made Perini realize that he would most likely experience another season in the shadows, even though he would compete for the starting spot with the former Empoli goalkeeper anyway. Perin has a contract until 2028, with an automatic renewal option for another season in case of promotion to Serie A, while his salary reaches almost 2 million euros.
