The death toll from yesterday's deadly rail accident that occurred after two trains collided in Toledo, Spain, has risen to at least 74. The report was published by the Ministry of Transport's Railway Accident Investigation Commission (CIAF).
After visiting a hospital in Toledo where the injured in the train accident are being treated, King Felipe VI today called for measures to be taken to prevent another train tragedy.
"The investigation must determine how and why this disaster occurred. We must also study the measures that need to be taken to ensure that this never happens again," he said.
