As announced the day before, the civic protest has entered a new phase of escalation today, September 1st.
On the 94th day of resistance against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama, protesters have changed the scenario of previous marches, blocking one of the side entrances to the Prime Minister's Office.
Unlike other nights, when citizens marched towards the building and stood in front of it, this time they are located at one of the side entrances, near the Pyramid.
The situation has also caught the State Police forces unprepared, who were immediately positioned around the Prime Minister's Office building.
Meanwhile, it is learned that the protest has also prevented Prime Minister Edi Rama from leaving the building. His vehicle was reportedly parked near the entrance where citizens were positioned.
"Edi Rama, come out to the Boulevard," are the citizens' calls.
