Kosovo President calls on Albanians in the Presevo Valley: Vote in the

Kosovo President Justina Shiroka Pula has called on Albanians from Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac living in Kosovo to participate in the parliamentary elections in Serbia. Through a public message, she called for the highest possible turnout, describing the vote as an opportunity to strengthen the political representation of Albanians and protect their rights.

In her call, Shiroka Pula emphasized political unity, with the aim of ensuring more Albanian representatives in the Serbian Parliament.

"Unity is the key to stronger political representation. Therefore, together on the list and together in voting. For more Albanian deputies in the Parliament of Serbia. For a stronger voice in defense of the rights, dignity and interests of Albanians."

The President reminded voters that participation in elections is a democratic right, but also an instrument to raise the voice for the interests of the Albanian community in the Presheva Valley.

"Every vote matters. Your participation is a direct contribution to political representation and to improving the position of Albanians in Presevo, Medveđa and Bujanovac. I invite you to use your democratic right to vote to protect and advance the rights of Albanians."

Early parliamentary elections in Serbia are taking place on October 25th, in a tense political climate, following widespread student protests and accusations of corruption against the government. The latest polls show a close race between the list supported by President Aleksandar Vučić and the student list.

Six decisions signed by the AMA on October 30, for alleged violations of ethical standards and broadcasting statements that, according to the authority, incite hatred or justify violence. The fines have opened a debate on the limits of freedom of expression and the responsibility of television stations, while journalists see them as a form of pressure that risks encouraging self-censorship in studios and editorial offices.
