Hamza's resignation, a woman takes over the leadership of PDK

The Secretary General of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Vlora Çitaku, is the only nominee of this party as acting chairperson for this political entity.

The news was confirmed to KosovaPress by PDK MP and member of the party's leadership, Blerta Deliu.

"Yes, I can confirm that Ms. Çitaku is proposed as acting president of PDK," said Deliu.

These developments in PDK come after the resignation of the current leader, Bedri Hamza, who during the day irrevocably resigned from this position.

Hamza said in a press conference that he is not resigning from the PDK, but only from the position of leader.
