Russia and Ukraine have exchanged attacks overnight, causing casualties and injuries on both sides. In Kiev, Russian airstrikes left at least two dead and 10 wounded. The strikes came after three days of relative calm in the Ukrainian capital.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian drones hit the Russian city of Saratov. Local authorities reported damage to civilian infrastructure and at least 10 injuries, including three children. The Russian attacks also put Poland on alert. Warsaw scrambled military aircraft and activated air defense systems near the border with Ukraine. The escalation comes as diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire between Moscow and Kiev continue without concrete results.
