An alarming situation is occurring in the Trodhne area in the Ulëz administrative unit of the Mat Municipality, where the fire continues to be active. During the night, the flames have engulfed several shepherds' stables, burning huts, livestock facilities, and a residence.
Despite the air intervention, where a helicopter has been working in the areas affected by the fire for four days until late in the evening, the situation remains critical today. Another fire was activated last evening in the village of Mallunxë, in the administrative unit of Lis i Mat. Firefighters and civil emergency workers are on the ground and are working to isolate the flames, as homes are also at risk.
Meanwhile, the situation is also problematic in the Bulqiza Municipality. A fire continues to be active on Mount Lepur, where work is underway to bring it under control.
