Clashes and chaos in Parliament, the Ethics Secretariat expels DP deputies for

The DP group blocked the rostrum at the start of the session and argued fiercely with the Speaker of Parliament Niko Peleshi. After the tensions at the beginning, Peleshi decided to move the session directly to a vote on the bills. Then the Democrats began to take the cards of the Socialists, preventing them from voting, which required the intervention of the Guard. Here there was a clash between the DP MP Fadil Kreka and the SP MP, Ervin Hoxha, which almost escalated into a fistfight between them. Even from a distance, two MPs insulted each other. A day after the tensions and chaos in the Assembly, the Ethics Secretariat has expelled 6 Democratic Party MPs for 60 days.

Specifically, the following are exempted for 60 days:

Flamur Noka
Belind Kelliçi
Edi Paloka
Fidel Kreka
Luciano Boçi
Besart Xhaferri

Meanwhile, the Socialist Party requested a 10-day exemption for Gjin Gjonin, Bardh Spahia, Albana Vokshi, Elda Hoti, Xhelal Mziu, Gent Strazimiri, Enno Bozdo, Kastriot Piroli, Kliti Hoti, Flamur Hoxha, Arjan Ndoja, Ivi Kaso, Zija Ismaili, Blendi Himçi.

Six decisions signed by the AMA on October 30, for alleged violations of ethical standards and broadcasting statements that, according to the authority, incite hatred or justify violence. The fines have opened a debate on the limits of freedom of expression and the responsibility of television stations, while journalists see them as a form of pressure that risks encouraging self-censorship in studios and editorial offices.
