A rare moment occurred on Friday evening during the youth protest, which is now entering its fourth day. A group of young people approached the Rapid Intervention Forces located on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard and shook hands with them.
They were told that they had nothing personal and that the police were not their target. The protesters began to shout: "Take off your hats" and then sang the national anthem. A young man also brought several bottles of water: "I had so much money with me" - he said.
The "atmosphere of peace" was disrupted by a police chief who asked protesters to disperse or protest peacefully. "The police don't need water," said the police chief. The young people responded that they have nothing to do with the state police, but only with Edi Rama, who should leave. ©LAPSI.al
