The police intervention against the protesters in front of the Ministry of Education was immediate and brutal this Tuesday. The rapid intervention forces, equipped with spacesuits, shields and rubber batons, hit young and old people who were protesting while clearing the streets of Durrës. Videos filmed by citizens show that the police severely abused the protesters, as seen in this footage, where a policeman shoots a citizen several times with a rubber baton, even though he was lying on the ground and bleeding.
