Another shocking video shows the brutality of police forces against young people who have come out to protest against Edi Rama's government.
In footage posted on social media, a police officer is seen kicking a protester in the leg while his colleagues drag him along the asphalt. The manner of the kick creates the impression that the police officer is trying to break the young man's leg, who at that moment is completely under the control of the police.
The video also shows the moments leading up to this scene. The young man stands alone in the middle of the road, without showing any violent behavior, when a group of officers wearing suits, shields, and rubber batons rush towards him.
One of the policemen pushes him with force and slams him onto the asphalt. Then several officers surround him, hit him with rubber batons and start dragging him towards the police vehicle.
The footage is further evidence of brutal behavior by the police, which in recent days has shown its darkest side in the service of power.
