Lubonja: We live in a narco-police state, crime has entered the economy

Writer and publicist Fatos Lubonja, invited to the Prime News24 show, said that the protests show that Prime Minister Rama has built a narco-police state.

Lubonja said that organized crime has penetrated deeply into the economy. He added that the head of government attacks the media that spoils his facade.

"What we are facing is an authoritarian regime. This is a narco-media regime. That is, a state captured by organized crime, but which has maintained a facade through the media. It has worked with foreign newspapers, with its own media. It has attacked the two media outlets that have ruined its facade.

"It is becoming a narco-police state, where the facade falls and the true face is shown. The longer the Prime Minister stays in power, the more organized crime he has introduced into the economy and all of these help to protect their interests. I suspect that these criminal people dress up as police officers" - said Lubonja. /LAPSI.al

Six decisions signed by the AMA on October 30, for alleged violations of ethical standards and broadcasting statements that, according to the authority, incite hatred or justify violence. The fines have opened a debate on the limits of freedom of expression and the responsibility of television stations, while journalists see them as a form of pressure that risks encouraging self-censorship in studios and editorial offices.
