The process of identifying and treating informal housing in the Selita e Madhe area has been completed, after a door-to-door field work by teams from the State Cadastre Agency, in cooperation with the Municipality of Tirana.
The area was designated as a priority for the treatment of housing blocks, with the aim of documenting the ownership situation and completing procedures for families who still did not have the relevant documentation.
During the process, ASHK teams identified 733 buildings on the ground. From the verifications carried out, 364 residents have confirmed that they are already equipped with ownership documentation, while for some of the apartments, legalization and registration procedures have continued.
A concrete result of the process is the provision of 41 families with legalization decisions, decisions which have already been registered in the cadastral register. These residents can immediately apply for the provision of a certificate of ownership, map and property card.
Meanwhile, for 96 families, the procedure will be completed after the necessary documentation is completed. ASHK has made public the names of the families, along with the documents that each resident must submit, in order for the process to proceed without delay.
Cases have also been identified in the field where teams have not been able to access the apartments. This concerns 46 apartments, for which treatment will continue as soon as the residents contact the ASHK Tirana Rural 1 Local Directorate.
Another category identified during the verifications are 186 inaccessible apartments, which, according to cadastral registry data, are already equipped with a property title.
ASHK announces that the lists of names of beneficiaries of legalization decisions, as well as the lists of residents who must complete the documentation at the ASHK Tirana Rural 1 Local Directorate, have been published on the institution's official website, in the "Posts" section.
The completion of the block treatment in Selita e Madhe is part of ASHK's approach to move from individual treatment of files towards organized interventions in priority areas, aiming to document all housing on the ground and orient each family towards the concrete step they need to take to formalize and register their property.
