As a result of the strong protests by students and high school students, the Socialist Party not only canceled the group's meeting at the Brigades Palace, but the government brought the meeting closer to noon out of panic lest the demonstrators approach the prime minister's office.
But in addition to this, Prime Minister Edi Rama was seen clandestinely entering the government headquarters, without the pomp of the Mercedes that usually takes him into the inner courtyard.
Rama, hunched over in a dark overcoat, is seen entering through the inconspicuous gate where administration employees enter. This measure may also be taken for security reasons, after protesters have attempted to hit the prime minister's car several times, but the official version of this secret infiltration is related to the armoring of the main gates of the prime minister's office (photo below), as a result of the protest that is expected to move in front of the government headquarters.
