The police have solved the armed robbery that occurred in the early hours of the morning of October 12 in the “5 Maji” neighborhood in Elbasan. Three people have been identified, including a girl, and are wanted, while the owner of the vehicle abandoned by them is under investigation. The police have searched the vehicle that is suspected to have been used by the perpetrators and was then abandoned. During the search, clothing similar to Police uniforms, a knife and a flannel were found in the vehicle.

The Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person and Property of the Elbasan DVP, in close cooperation with the Prosecution, as a result of the investigative work, identified and declared wanted citizens MM, 46 years old, resident of Lezha, SA, 27 years old, resident of Elbasan and NA, 21 years old, resident of Greece.
These citizens are suspected of having, during the early morning hours of 12.10.2026, at gunpoint, stolen a large amount of money and mobile phones from an apartment in the "5 Maji" neighborhood in Elbasan.
The materials were also referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizen AN, 30 years old, resident of Tirana, relative of the 46-year-old and owner of the vehicle that the perpetrators abandoned. During the search of this vehicle, clothing similar to Police uniforms, a cutting tool (knife) and a fennel were found.
The search for the capture of the 3 wanted citizens continues, as well as the investigations for the identification and criminal prosecution of all citizens involved in this criminal case and for the complete documentation of its circumstances. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Elbasan, for further action.
