In the summer of 2023, in Paris, Gianluigi Donnarumma, then PSG goalkeeper, and his partner Alessia Elefante, whom he recently married, experienced moments of real terror. Some thieves entered their home, certainly with bad intentions. They beat them, tied them up and threatened them with a knife. The trial against these robbers has begun and during the trial, through the Daily Mail, truly shocking evidence came to light.

The English newspaper publishes court documents that confirm the events. The footballer was woken up by one of the robbers, before being hit in the face with a metal knuckle. One of the thieves was carrying a knife and asked where the watches were. Donnarumma immediately showed him one of them, an Audemars Piguet, but that alone was not enough as loot. Without scruples, they turned their attention to the goalkeeper's partner, who had previously given her testimony: "They pulled me by the hair, one of them hit me in the thigh. I told them I was pregnant, but they continued". She was also asked to show where the money and watches were kept.
The thieves also took a Cartier watch, jewelry and several thousand euros in cash. The robbers' fury was truly great and their anger increased when they discovered that there was nothing in the safe, it was completely empty. Before leaving, they took the keys to two vehicles, a Mercedes and a Lamborghini. A loot that, according to reports at the time, was worth over half a million euros.
Terrible moments, which certainly have not been easily forgotten by Alessia Elefante and Gianluigi Donnarumma, who at the time said that they had experienced difficult days. Reading these testimonies, it is understandable and one can only imagine what they could have experienced in those moments.
Two organizers, four robbers in action: two of them were convicted because they were minors
The gang consisted of four men; two of them were minors at the time of the incident and were sentenced to three and four years in prison by a juvenile court. One suspect committed suicide the year after the robbery, while another defendant admitted his involvement but was not charged with violence against the Donnarumma couple. Meanwhile, two men who were already in prison and had several criminal records were accused of planning the robbery, despite being behind bars. French authorities later said that the four perpetrators entered the apartment using a ladder to climb to the roof, before descending to the balcony and entering through the windows.
