Three 16-year-olds were injured after a serious accident that occurred after midnight on the Berat bypass. According to preliminary data, the minors were riding electric motorcycles and were suspected of racing each other. At the roundabout on the outskirts of the city, they lost control of their vehicles and crashed.
All three were initially transported to the Berat Regional Hospital. Two of them, with serious head injuries, were urgently taken to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana and are in serious condition. The third minor is being treated in Berat for multiple fractures, but his life is out of danger. The Traffic Police have launched investigations to clarify the dynamics and causes of the accident.
