For several days, a group of people "armed" with sticks have been standing inside the Socialist Party headquarters to protect it from any unexpected attack. The mandate to protect the headquarters was given directly by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who entrusted this mission to Rigers Sheqer, the head of INUK.
But as the students approached the SP headquarters this Sunday, they stopped and threw stones several times. For several minutes, the headquarters was under a barrage of stones and tiles that had been torn from Durrës Street, but none of those inside came out to stop this attack.
In the footage published on social media by journalist Isa Myzyraj, it appears that several people, including INUK leader Rigers Sheqeri, are leaving the headquarters. But only after the police had approached and the students had left, leaving behind broken windows and the fear of returning to the SP headquarters, which has now been left in the hands of some anonymous individuals.
