A fire broke out this Saturday afternoon in the village of Dëllënjë, in the Novosele Administrative Unit of Vlora. Two fire trucks and eight firefighters are on the scene. They are working to isolate and extinguish the flames.
Intervention is being made difficult by high temperatures and strong winds. These conditions are favoring the spread of the fire. According to the fire service, the flames are threatening orchards and olive groves. Homes are not currently at risk, as they are located far from the hearth.
