It was March 2018 when a joke by Prime Minister Edi Rama in the parliament hall expressed in a few words the arrogance with which he has governed these years. The head of government, considering himself all-powerful, said that he did not ask about threats that "the people might rise up in protest."
"You can't block anything and hinder anything. Moreover, with these threats "no, these people will rise", "no, those people will rise". This rising is "call, call to rise, that poor, hunched-over person cannot answer". It's poetry that the doctor knows. Ask him what he tells you" - Rama said at the time.
The point is that now that the Albanians have "risen up", Rama doesn't know where to go. The only way he can go out in Tirana is early in the morning, when the citizens, students, and high school students have not yet taken to the streets of the capital.
