Three citizens, Florjan Mustafa, Aleksandër Rira and Denis Çollaku, were arrested on the "Librazhd-Elbasan" axis, for transporting 24 immigrants who had entered Albania illegally on two occasions. One of them was driving the vehicle in which he was transporting the immigrants without a driver's license.
2 vehicles are seized. As a result of the rapid administration of information obtained in the operational route, about citizens involved in the criminal activity of transporting immigrants from Third Countries for payment, who intend to go illegally, to EU countries, the specialists of the Trafficking Investigation Section, in cooperation with the services of the Special Operational Force and the Special Force "Eagle", finalized 2 consecutive operations in this field.
Specifically, from the 2 interventions carried out on the “Librazhd–Elbasan” road axis, the coded operations were finalized:
-“Axis”, during which the citizen FM, 22 years old, resident of Elbasan, was arrested in flagrante delicto, transporting 14 emigrants;
-“Axis 01”, during which the citizens AR, 23 years old and D. Ç., 24 years old, both residents of Përrenjas, were arrested in flagrante delicto, transporting 10 emigrants. From further verifications, it resulted that the citizen AR was driving the vehicle in which he was transporting the emigrants, without a driving license. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Elbasan, for further actions.
