The residents of Divjaka have again gone on strike for 5 days in a row, opposing the new territorial division of the ruling majority, which envisages the merger of 15 municipalities, including Divjaka.
The removal of services, the economic and social reality have been the arguments to oppose the merger of the Divjaka municipality. The protesters have demanded that more citizens and residents come to the square to protest, as well as maximum commitment from the administration employees.
Among other things, the protesting residents have stated that they will not stop the protest until the government announces the cancellation of the project that foresees the merger of the municipality. At the end of the speeches, the protesters also marched through the streets of the city where they called on more Divjaka citizens to join their cause.
