The civic protest against the government continues today, entering its 67th consecutive day. As every evening, citizens are expected to gather at "Skënderbej" Square and then march towards the Prime Minister's Office, where speeches by activists and participants will take place. For more than two months, the protest has been taking place without interruption in Tirana. Organizers insist that the mobilization will continue until their demands are met, with the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama as the main objective.
The protesters have stressed that the demand for the prime minister's resignation is non-negotiable and that they will not accept any political compromise. Even today, the march is expected to be accompanied by the chants "Rama, resign", "Albania seeks revolution", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "Without youth there is no Albania", "Your end has come" and "New Albania", slogans that have become symbols of the daily protest. The organizers have once again called on citizens from all over Albania and the diaspora to join the protests, emphasizing that the civic action will continue every day until the government leaves office, a technical government is established and free and fair elections are held.
