Albania declared her non-grata, Imam from Macedonia: Injustice!

Imam Bekir Halimi considers the non grata declaration by the Albanian authorities an injustice.

In his first public reaction after the verdict, he says he has received dozens of messages of support and that he will continue to seek justice.

"Today, all day long after the news of my name being declared persona non grata came out, I had numerous phone calls from many friends, well-wishers, intellectuals, journalists and businessmen concerned by this decision.

I thank all those who have called and written to me and I say to them, may Allah reward you, have mercy on you and make you happy. It is sad when injustice is done, especially to those people who have dedicated their lives to raising religious awareness among our people and making a patriotic contribution to our national development.

That's how life is.

We will continue to seek justice and fight injustices and we will try to continuously contribute to building just and functional states where every citizen will feel honored and privileged with guaranteed rights and economic well-being, with a comfortable life where we demonstrate patriotism and patriotism, educating children with faith and honor so that they can continue to contribute to making our states better and more advanced. Let's not allow our young people to abandon this country. Let's hope this injustice and mistake is corrected as soon as possible", said Halimi.

The Ministry of Interior on Tuesday declared Bekir Halimi and analyst Valon Bela non grata, banning them from entering Albania for 10 years, following information from Anti-Terror structures that their activity posed a threat to national security.

Andi Bushati: What if Lali gets out of prison?

A pact has been drawn up between the prime minister and the imprisoned mayor to return the latter to office. But what would be the consequence for a justice reform, that the high-ranking officials have kicked down the doors of his cells?

A decisive moment for Albania

It is the first time that Albanians feel they can shape the national debate without waiting for political parties to take the lead. Experience teaches us that democracy depends not only on elections, but also on active citizenship among them.

Before the verdict/ Maneuvers to get Veliaj out of the cell

Is there a new Rama-Veliaj pact that foresees the mayor's release from prison? Why did the head of government approve the dismissal of Anuela Ristani this time and why might it be beneficial for him to have "Lali's" return to office?

Greece lowers food prices, Rama: We will not intervene, the "system" does not allow us

The Greek government has reduced the prices of more than 1,700 products through an agreement with industry, suppliers and supermarkets; on the other hand, the Albanian government says it cannot intervene in prices because the "system" forbids it and promises only "transparency", at a time when Albanians are paying more for food than the European Union average and with price increases much higher than their neighbors.
