The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, completed the investigations and sent to trial citizens KS, FK and EA, accused of the criminal offense of "Computer Fraud" and 'Failure to Report a Crime' provided for by articles 143/b/2 and 300 of the Criminal Code.
At the conclusion of the investigations on criminal proceedings no. 8513 year 2025, based on information received in the operative way about an environment on Zalli Street, Selitë, 2nd floor, where the illegal activity of a 'call center' is being carried out, procedural actions were carried out on the initiative and inside the premises the accused and other persons were found sitting in positions adapted as an office. From the investigations of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, it resulted that citizens KS and FK were the persons who recruited the employees. These citizens explained the work process, which had to do with convincing foreign citizens to regain the lost money (Recovery).
The investigations revealed that the agents received information from the clients about their situation of losing money and provided solutions for their return. They were informed about the clients' situation, what situation they were in, how they lost the money and what companies they had previously collaborated with. Then the clients were given an appointment with the expert to review the incident and the continuity of their phone calls was reviewed by citizens KS and FK. As mentioned above, citizens KS and FK were arrested and sent to court for the criminal offense of 'Computer fraud', while citizen EA was charged with the criminal offense of 'Failure to report a crime'.
