
The Ministry of Defense announces that during the last 24 hours, 35 fire outbreaks have been reported in the country, of which 5 are still active and 3 are under control. The active outbreaks are mainly in Dajt in Tirana, Lufaj in Mirdita, Tërbun-Gjegjan-Gojan in Puka, Gjorm e Sipërm in Malësi e Madhe and Tunjë e Re in Gramsh. In Puka, a family was evacuated during the operations, while the intervention of the forces prevented the fire from spreading to the apartment.
In Dajt and other active areas, authorities indicate that there is no risk to residential areas. Meanwhile, the fire in Gurë-Lura remains under control after extinguishing the fire, while interventions in Qafë Helmes continue. The Ministry emphasizes that 382 operational forces and 40 firefighting vehicles have been engaged to deal with the situation, while the Armed Forces have supported the operations with 90 personnel and 3 Air Force helicopters.
