As reported by Cyclades24, the young tourist allegedly had consumed a large amount of alcohol and, as she claimed in her statement, was in a state in which she was unable to resist.
According to her complaint, "the 23-year-old is suspected of taking advantage of her condition and performing a sexual act without her consent," CNN Greek reports.
Following the complaint, police officers launched investigations to find and identify the man described by the 18-year-old.
Authorities managed to identify the 23-year-old, a Kosovo citizen, who was found in the Platys Gialos area and arrested.
The arrested person is expected to appear before the competent prosecution authority, while the case is now in the hands of the judiciary.
