The fire situation in the country continues to be problematic, while the Ministry of Defense has provided another update on the fire situation. Through an official announcement, the Defense announced that 7 fire sources have been identified, of which 5 remain active and 2 are under monitoring.
Around 130 local operational forces are engaged in the field, while the Armed Forces support the operations with 90 personnel and 2 Air Force helicopters. The main active areas are in Dajt and Priska, Tirana, Lufaj, Mirdita, Tërbun-Gojan, Puka and Shashica, and Selenica.
The most sensitive situation is in Tërbun-Gojan, where strong winds have favored the spread of the fire. Meanwhile, in Gurë-Lura, the fire has been extinguished and the area is being monitored, while in Qafë Helmes, the fire has been isolated and operations with local forces are continuing.

The Ministry of Defense informs that as of 20:00, 7 fires have been identified, of which 5 remain active and 2 are under monitoring. Around 130 local operational forces are engaged in the field, while the Armed Forces support the operations with 90 personnel and 2 Air Force helicopters.
The main active hotbeds are in Dajt and Priska, Tirana, Lufaj, Mirditë, Tërbun–Gojan, Pukë and Shashicë, Selenica. In Dajt, the operation continues with 50 AF personnel, 15 MZSH forces and 5 AZM forces, while in Priska, MZSH forces continue to be present. In both areas, there is no danger to inhabited areas.
In Lufaj, the fire remains active at low intensity, with the involvement of the Forest Service and the Ministry of Environment, without danger to homes. The most sensitive situation is in Tërbun–Gojan, where strong winds have favored the spread of the fire. Operational forces continue to work on the ground and the Ministry of Environment is focused on protecting homes. Currently, there is no reported danger to residential areas.
Meanwhile, in Gurë-Lura the fire has been extinguished and the area is being monitored, while in Qafë Helmes the fire has been isolated and operations with local forces are continuing. Civil Protection structures continue their coordinated engagement in all fires, with priority given to the protection of lives and homes and the complete isolation of active fires.
