Protesters demand his resignation/ Rama finds the next culprit: Foreign hands in

Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted again this Friday after the large student protest. Rama spoke from another burned building, saying that there are "foreign hands" in this protest. According to Rama, there are foreign hands in the protest, who do not want the good of Albania.

"I want to tell all those who are in tears before similar events and who live with a small business in Tirana that they are not alone. As soon as this flame passes, we will be there, together with them. I want to tell them that we have faced a terrible earthquake, with consequences, God forbid, even greater, and we made it together. Today, those who lost their homes in 30 seconds, live in better and stronger homes.

"How can students be? How can parents' investment in their children be part of this abyss? This has nothing to do with students. All this fire is not a student fire. All this hostage-taking of the city with masks has nothing to do with the troubles and problems of citizens. All this is the same hand that has grabbed the Albanian opposition by the throat and that has burned and destroyed Albania more than once," Rama said.

Veton Surroi: The crisis in Albania in seven points

One solution would be to create the legal and political conditions for free and fair elections next year. For the elections to produce a way out of the crisis, a special package of electoral guarantees should be prepared that, among other things, would limit in advance the influence of illicit money, the misuse of state resources, and inequality in access to the media.
