Renowned Albanian singer, Alban Skenderaj, has announced that the "Motiv" concert, scheduled to be held during August in Vlora, will not take place as planned.
The artist himself announced the news through a post on social media, where he revealed that after months of intensive preparations with a large production team, he was forced to make the decision to cancel or postpone the concert to a date yet to be determined.
According to Skenderaj, this decision comes as a result of the situation created in the country, related to the ongoing protests against investments in Vlora.
"'MOTIV' was planned to come as a giant production in Vlora this August. However, due to the situation created in the country, I have decided that the planned concert in Vlora will not take place or will be postponed to an unspecified date," the singer wrote.
In his reaction, Skenderaj emphasized that music for him is not just a profession, but a mission to inspire people, to give hope, and to unite those whom life has separated.
He did not give a new date for the concert, but hinted that he hopes to bring the "Motiv" project to the public as soon as the right conditions are created.
The "Motiv" concert was expected to be one of the biggest musical events of the summer in Vlora, with a large-scale production and a significant number of fans who had expressed interest in attending. /LAPSI.al
