A serious road accident resulting in the death of two Albanian citizens occurred this Friday morning near the city of Serres, in Greece. According to Greek media, the accident occurred at around 07:30 on the Amfipolis–Drama road, near the Paleokomi area, where a vehicle collided with a truck.
As a result of the violent collision, the two people in the vehicle, a 43-year-old mother and her 24-year-old son, both Albanian citizens, lost their lives. The bodies of the victims were transported to the Serres General Hospital.
The 57-year-old driver of the truck was also injured in the accident and was taken to Drama General Hospital for medical attention. Greek authorities have launched investigations to determine the full causes and circumstances of the accident.
