During the last 12 hours, 25 fires have been reported, of which 10 remain active. Through the coordination of the National Civil Protection Agency, prefectures, local government units and the Armed Forces - 47 firefighting vehicles and 454 operational forces have been engaged in the operations for their isolation and extinguishing. 110 Armed Forces personnel, 3 helicopters, the "Air Tractor" aircraft and 3 firefighting vehicles of the Armed Forces with the relevant personnel have also been engaged in support.
The operation continues from land and air in the Dajti area. There is no danger to inhabited areas.
In the village of Priskë, Tirana municipality, work continues to extinguish a forest fire. There is no danger to residential areas.
In the villages of Riban and Ngraçan, Mallakastër municipality, the fire is moving towards isolation thanks to the intervention of ground and air forces.
In the Elbasan region, work continues on the outbreaks of Shqiponjë, Dardhës Mountain, Mjekës and the protected area on Valamara Mountain. The outbreaks in Shqiponjë and Mjekës are under control, while no risk to inhabited areas is reported.
In Kostren 2, Berat municipality, the fire has been reactivated and firefighters are working to extinguish it. Meanwhile, the fires in Floq, Korça municipality, and in Shpërdhet–Drojë, Kurbin municipality, have been extinguished.
AKMC and the structures of the civil protection system continue to monitor the situation and coordinate interventions throughout the territory.
