A road accident was recorded this morning on the Fier-Lushnjë highway, near the village of Kolonjë. An "Audi" vehicle, which was traveling from Fier towards Lushnje, lost control, went off the road and ended up inside the underpass that leads towards the Kolonjë area.
As a result of the strong collision, the vehicle has suffered significant material damage. The driver of the vehicle has received minor injuries and has been urgently transported to the Lushnja hospital to receive the necessary medical assistance, where fortunately he is out of danger to his life. Traffic Police officers have immediately arrived at the scene, who have begun work to document the event and fully clarify the circumstances of how the accident occurred.
It is initially suspected that the main cause of the accident was a wrong maneuver by the driver. Fortunately, there were no consequences for other road users from this incident, while the police's scientific expertise is awaited to determine with precision the final causes of the accident.
